Self shooting DV Director

Owner Simon Willis is a highly experienced location director and video journalist with more than twenty five years experience of BBC production.
With our own broadcast TV cameras, radio mics, specialist waterproof housings, mounts and mini-cams, plus easy access to higher formats, we work on a range of broadcast output, from BBC Newsnight Scotland to The Adventure Show.

Video editing

We edit using a 12 core MacPro edit suite.
Our principal edit client is Triple Echo Productions, also based in the Scottish Highlands, for whom we’ve edited two one-hour BBC-2 programmes and several other productions.

Reporting / presenting

In twenty five years as a BBC Correspondent, Simon Willis has reported for BBC News and a wide range of documentary programmes on television, Radio Four and Radio Scotland. 
He is a Clarion Award winner for best documentary and Travelex Award winner for travel writing.
He has anchored live studio television and radio programmes.

For BBC-2 Scotland, Sunart Media has followed four new highland businesses through the recession.
This occasional series is broadcast in Newsnight Scotland.
