The team

We’re a small, family business.

Liz Willis has a background in design, having worked on some of the UK’s best known products and corporate identities with a major London design firm.

Simon Willis is a former BBC correspondent who won awards in television, radio, print and film, before learning to shoot and directing his own programmes.

For our productions we regularly collaborate with others in the industry, particularly Triple Echo Productions, Heirloom Media, Active Productions and Hot Aches.

As you can see from the photos, we’re not exactly corporate types.  We do a lot of sea kayaking, road cycling, mountain biking and hill walking.

So if we’re not in when you ring, sorry - but you know why.

This also explains why we live on the Ardnamurchan peninsula, the most westerly part of the British mainland.  The area is called ‘Sunart’ and was named by the Vikings.

It seemed a good name for our business.

Our first full-length production was a sea kayak coaching DVD.

It won ‘Best Instructional Film’ award at three international film festivals.  Our second DVD is currently in production.

Book

We created Europe’s first long distance trail for sea kayakers and wrote the guide book, published by Pesda Press.

This is essential reading for kayakers visiting Scotland’s west coast.

Other media

Read an article about us from the Aberdeen based Press and Journal. It’s not entirely accurate but it’s close enough.

We run a Podcast website and a blog, both linked to sea kayaking and life in the highlands.
